This is our recommended trip for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers, offering you as much wildlife and amazing Alaskan sceneries as Prince William Sound has to offer, both on the water and off! As with all our packages, we can adjust the itineraries, schedules and lodging options to suit your needs and budget.

4 DAY/3 NIGHT PACKAGE:
(Includes free round trip transport with Whittier Water Taxi from Whittier Boat harbor to the base camp, 3 nights lodging, 3 meals a day, all guided adventure activities chosen from a smorgasbord of choices and all taxes and fees)

Day 1: The City of Whittier, Alaska is known as the gateway to the beautiful Prince William Sound. Depart Whittier with Whittier Water Taxi and a qualified naturalist and USCG 150 ton licensed Captain, cruising through Passage Canal and Port Wells past numerous glaciers and ice fields on your way to the R/V Cathy G. We will look for wildlife along the way such as northern sea otters, harbor seals, Steller sea lions, Dall’s porpoise, humpback whales and birds. Arrive at the base camp and settle into your room and familiarize yourself with the vessel. Lodging is in the form of cabins and each cabin has one double bunk and one single bunk. A shared bathroom includes a shower, basin and toilet. Meals are served in the galley.

Day 2 and 3: After breakfast each day, depart on your activity of the day (activities can include a selection of the following: fishing, kayaking, kayak fishing, wildlife tours, glacier tours, whale watching, birding and photography, hiking, exploring historical sites, beach combing, shrimping, unguided skiing or snowshoeing). Return to the R/V Cathy G to relax before dinner and enjoy the long Alaskan evenings. When in season, meals include fresh, locally caught seafood. Meals are home style and if you wish, we can arrange for you to catch your dinner!

Day 4: After breakfast, depart with Whittier Water Taxi to make your way back to Whittier, again looking out for wildlife and interesting geological and historical features along the way.

Round trip transport from Anchorage to Whittier can be arranged for you and your group but is not included in this package price. Please feel free to ask us about these services.
